Gregorian Chant Choirs

Gregorian Chant choirs, known as “scholae,” sing at the Traditional Latin Mass on Sundays at 1:00 p.m. from September to June.  The Men's Schola sings every week throughout the academic year.  The Women’s Schola sings every three weeks, singing some of the proper chants alone, and joining with the men to sing a polyphonic setting of the Mass Ordinary. Schola members occasionally come together for special rehearsals, but mostly practice on their own at home, with the help of scores and recordings available on line at http://www.ccwatershed.org. If you would like to join a Gregorian Chant choir, please contact Michael Olbash at olbash@post.harvard.edu.
